Group Piano Lessons at JAM

Starting Term 1 2026 | Expressions of Interest Now Open
With the recent closure of ISM Killarney Heights, many local families are now seeking a new home for their children’s piano education. Jeffries Academy of Music (JAM) is proud to introduce a brand-new Group Piano Program launching in Term 1 2026 — a structured, syllabus-based approach designed to build strong musical foundations in an inspiring, collaborative setting.
This format offers the best of both worlds — the independence of private tuition with the motivation and community of ensemble learning.
👩🏫 Expert Teaching Team
All JAM piano tutors are qualified, Conservatorium-trained educators and active professional musicians. They bring genuine industry experience to the classroom, helping students develop excellent technique, musical understanding, and performance confidence from the very first lesson. The program will be overseen by JAM’s piano faculty coordinator, ensuring lesson quality, consistency, and alignment with our academy-wide standards of proper teaching and real musicianship.

🎵 A Modern Approach to Group Piano
Each 45-minute class combines personal practice time and guided group learning:
-
Every student has their own keyboard and studio space for focused work.
-
Doors open at the start and end of the session so students can come together for shared activities, demonstrations, and performance practice.
-
Lessons follow a proper curriculum, ensuring progress in note reading, rhythm, technique, and musicianship.
